Yeast Strains

Our substrate-independent autobioluminescent technology is capable of changing the way you assay.

Our Yeast Strains

Our Saccharomyces cerevisiae BLYES strain is specially engineered to initiate autobioluminescent production upon exposure to estrogen disruptor compounds. S. cerevisiae BLYES expresses a human estrogen receptor for ultra-low background detection of estrogen disruptor compounds and autonomously self-modulates its resulting autobioluminescent reporter signal to provide positive compound identification in real time without the need for sample destruction or chemical treatment.

Detection: Estrogen disruptor compounds

Our Saccharomyces cerevisiae BLYAS strain is specially engineered to initiate autobioluminescent production upon exposure to androgen disruptor compounds. S. cerevisiae BLYAS expresses a human androgen receptor for ultra-low background detection of androgen disruptor compounds and autonomously self-modulates its resulting autobioluminescent reporter signal to provide positive compound identification in real time without the need for sample destruction or chemical treatment.

Detection: Androgen disruptor compounds

Our Saccharomyces cerevisiae BLYR strain constitutively produces an autobioluminescent signal without the need for chemical or optical stimulation, making it ideal for monitoring toxicity or tracking sample growth in real time.

Detection: Cytotoxicity
